works very hard since they get two crops a year because of being its altitude at the lowest in Ladakh. Very important thing we noticed was that people over here are very friendly and helpful to visitors. They gave us whatever needed for us during our stay there.
All our students enjoyed the trip to Dha though it was very far from the Leh. Many of our students have not been to such place where it is hot and has a lot of fruit trees and other different type of tree (mosquitoes also). On the way students debated over the landscape of the respective villages. They seemed to be proud of their own place whatever the feature of the landscape is. What made the trip successful was presence of socially cooperative and responsible students! Bottle being filled with jam juice.
Today on 13th of July the Putney group leaves for ten day trek through Ladakh. On our way we will be experiencing the large region culture and condition something I understand is far cry from that we have met at the SECMOL campus. SECMOL would be the best described by an outside observer, especially one of a western urban extraction as something of a Shangrila a mount air spring joins forces with a sum to provide the 68 students guests and staff with all their power needs. The scenery is breathtaking causing even the most jaded traveler to pause and stare during his morning routine for the firs few days the process of acclimating coupled with the unbelievable strength of the sun makes for a truly surreal experience after a day. I have already forgotten about T.V.
It depresses me to thing that my days here are limited and that soon I by leaving this cloud-shrouded paradise and returning to my crowded, thick-aired home state although many things will return to me as a relief. I have recently been haunted in my sleep by the elusive image of frozen sacks and fried chicken will undoubtedly find me wanting to something may be for the better: my fried skinned, fog breathing ancestors didn't equip me well for this climate.

All the hostel students and Putney students visited Mahaboddhi Meditation Center which is 45 minutes drive bus to east of Leh. All our people enjoyed the visit in which we learn to serve the poor and disadvantaged peoples in our society. There was a formal religious songs and chanting presentation by the students over there which enchant everyone. Sangasaina the founder of the organization taught us how to meditate with basic techniques start from breathing. And later he adviced us not be too materialist but to be nature loving. The visit ends with delicious lunch in the flashy restaurant at the centre.
